How to make Korma Paste

Make this during the weekend, pop it in the fridge and you can have a homemade Chicken Korma on the table during a weekday!

Ingredients
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • Thumb-size piece of ginger
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon tomato puree
  • 1 fresh green chile
  • 2 tablespoons desiccated coconut
  • 2 tablespoons ground almonds
  • 15 grams fresh coriander
  • 2 teaspoons cumin seeds
  • 0.5 teaspoon coriander seeds
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
Directions
Step 1
This recipe can be made in either a food processor or a pestle and mortar.
Step 2
Peel the garlic and ginger and add to the food processor.
Step 3
Throw in all the other ingredients and process to a paste-like consistency.
Step 4
That is all there is to it.
